Dr Ashrita is an epidemiologist by background and is professionally trained in systematic reviews and information science. She is working with Campbell Collaboration as an Evidence Synthesis Specialist since two years and has led and managed Campbell Evidence and Gaps such as “Mega Map on child welfare in Low and Middle Income Countries”, “Effectiveness of interventions for People with Disabilities in LMICs” and “Effectiveness of Interventions for homelessness”. She is also leading a team of Campbell researchers and Campbell consultants working across Philippines, Beirut, London and India. She has worked to strengthen evidence base to aid informed decision making on matters related to immunization policies during her work at Ministry of Health and Family Welfare by collating and preparing data driven decision tools being a part of technical group. She has led the team working to improve the case for adaptation of stringent health care monitoring system for HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis in India, Kenya and Myanmar. She has published and on-going work on systematic reviews and Evidence and Gap Maps in Campbell Collaboration and other high impact journals. She has also worked with PHESA as an intern during her academic career in Manipal.
